I would highly recommend Pavilion Madrid. This understated and elegant hotel is literally next to the Ministry of Security … More so the entire block/area feels very safe and secure. The interior is impeccably clean and modern and the shower and lighting are excellent. Taxi and walking are both easy from this location. The staff is excellent and the vibe is peaceful and stylish. The location is nicely between Salamanca, Justica and Gran Via, … More all of which are around a 20-min walk.My only note for those driving is make sure you have a small car, otherwise your car won't fit (lift parking) and there is no public parking on the same street because the hotel is located by a ministry.

My wife and I were in Madrid … More for vacation, and were pleased with everything about the Pavilions, starting with the ease of arranging a transfer from the airport.Everyone we interacted with from the from the reception staff to the drivers to the breakfast team was great. The room was well appointed, remarkably quiet, and thanks to the blackout curtains we slept better than we ever have in a hotel.Coffee and breakfast was great (my wife is still raving about the croissants). We found the location to be perfect: the neighborhood is very quiet, but it's walking distance to most of the tourist destinations, or a short walk to metro/bus stops if you don't want to walk.While we don' expect to be in Madrid again in the near future, we will seek out other Pavilions locations in other cities after this stay.

The shower has this cool garden behind glass on the wall. The towel rack is heated. The bathroom comes with a toothbrush, … More nail filer, comb, body lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. It also has a hairdryer, slippers, and robes. The room is comfortable, but I also agree the lights are confusing because there are so many of them. You also get free coffee and tea that you can use with the nespresso machine. The service is great. When I was leaving my room, the cleaning staff was very friendly and asked if I wanted my room to be cleaned, even though it was after cleaning hours. Every interaction I had with the staff was great. The location is close to all my favorite areas of Madrid. You’re close to shopping in Salamanca, walking in the Retiro, and also you can easily get to the very central areas with the touristy things without having to stay there. Great stay in Madrid! I’ll choose this hotel again next time I come back.
