Superb hotel and grounds on the edge of the finest town in the world. Breakfast buffet is superb as is the pool (it's … More not too warm so we can actually swim). There is a garage to store bikes and the local bike hire even brought mine to the hotel at no extra charge.Currently, it's full but does not feel crowded. There are no crass entertainments, There are fine gardens with a good view of the Med. Inside has every wall hung with good, genuine paintings, they're excellent.

The chefs need to be commended for their work in the kitchens. Overall it is a place to stay and enjoy.

My fiancé and I spent two weeks in Spain/Portugal in July 2023. We are from California. We spent a day and a half in Deià … More and only left the hotel to go to the beach. The staff was tremendous. Friendly and accommodating. We spent a few hours at the pool drinking Sangria and grabbing food (Poke and Salmon wrap). We made dinner reservations for the restaurant at the hotel.We had Langostinos and Arroz Negro with a bottle of red wine. A highlight of our trip.It was totally last minute, but my fiancé was able make an appointment for a massage early the next morning. Thank you to the gentlemen at the front desk for making that happen on short notice. It was a bonus that my fiancé and I could speak Spanish with the staff. Don’t worry everyone speaks English, too. On the day we checked out, we decided to ask for directions to the beach. The gentlemen at the front desk deserves the highest of praise for his explanation. We beat the tourists down and parked in the perfect spot! In all honesty, the beach was not our favorite. It was really rocky (we had water shoes) and the water was capital letters salty. We were so happy we didn’t care. The views from the hotel are breathtaking but that feeling of serenity is indescribable.
